I am a 10 year 4-H member from Jackson County. I grew up on a small grain farm and graduated from Seymour High School. Due in part to my contacts thru 4-H, I attended Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. I've been employed for the last 26 years at Cummins Inc. in Columbus as an engineer in the emissions certification area. I live on a small farm and raise hay and feed some cattle. I'm a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Sauers where I have served as Secretary and Treasurer.
As an Amick loan recipient from the Indiana 4-H Foundation while at Purdue, I now feel privileged to serve on the Board of Director of the Indiana 4-H Foundation.
Eighteen years ago, I received a kidney transplant and have promoted organ donation ever since. I currently volunteer for the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.
