Indiana 4-H Foundation Hosts Bright Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast at State Fair
Indianapolis—All 4-Hers, alumni, volunteers and friends are invited to join the Indiana 4-H Foundation for breakfast at the State Fair on Saturday, August 11. The Bright Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast will feature 4-H alumna Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. JD Cannon from WFMS in Indianapolis will emcee the program.
“The Bright Green Eggs & Ham breakfast is a great way to show your support for Indiana 4-H and reconnect with your fellow 4-Hers and volunteers,” said Annie Watts Cloncs, President of the Foundation’s board of directors. “Grab a few friends and come learn about what’s new with Indiana 4-H and the Foundation.”
The breakfast, a first for the Foundation, marks the official launch of its new brand, “Investing in a Bright Green Future.” The new brand and revamped Web site, www.in.4H.org, reflect the mission of the 4-H Foundation to provide financial support for Indiana 4-H programs and the hundreds of thousands of Hoosier youth who participate.
The program will start at 7:30 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m. in the Hospitality Tents on the north side of the State Fairgrounds. Tickets are $10 each or $250 for a sponsored table of eight. They can be purchased by calling the Indiana 4-H Foundation at 317/692.7044 or at the door.
And, there’s still time to enter the Photo Flashback and see your winning picture displayed at the breakfast. From snapshots of 4-H friends at camp to pictures with your blue ribbon fair entry, submit your vintage or current photos by August 9. Go to www.in.4H.org for entry details.
