Indianapolis—The Indiana 4-H Foundation today unveiled a new brand, “Investing in a Bright Green Future,” and an updated Website designed to connect current 4-Hers, alumni and friends.
“Our new brand reflects our mission to financially support Indiana 4-H programs and the bright, green future they provide for hundreds of thousands of Hoosier youth,” said Annie Watts Cloncs, President of the Foundation’s board of directors. “4-H is one of the best youth development programs in the nation, and we are proud to support the outstanding Indiana youth who participate.”
There’s something for everyone at the revamped Website, http://www.in.4h.org/. Alumni can use the site to reconnect with former 4-H friends. Current 4-Hers can share ideas and learn about the latest opportunities, and everyone can learn more about upcoming events and join the Bright Green Team.
“The Bright Green Team is a new network of supporters who want to show their 4-H pride and support 4-H youth programs in their counties and around the state,” said 4-H Foundation Executive Director Beth Stickles McDaniel. Team members will help organize local events and spread the good word about Indiana 4-H and the Indiana 4-H Foundation.
The Website also offers details about a photo contest and upcoming Bright Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast. The breakfast, set for Saturday, August 11 at the State Fair, will mark the official launch of the new brand.
As part of the event, the Indiana 4-H Foundation wants to see your favorite 4-H photos. Winners will be included in the annual Bright Green Photo Flashback and the top entry will be featured at the Bright Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast. From 4-H friends at camp to pictures with your blue ribbon fair entry, submit your vintage or current photos by August 1. Go to http://www.in.4h.org/ for entry details. Marketing Informatics and Smallbox Consulting, both of Indianapolis, developed the new brand and Web site.
