As part of this special tribute, an endowment is being created to honor Doctor Robert Abel’s more than half century of service to Indiana citizens, especially its youth. This fund recognizes his continuing personal commitment to the Indiana 4-H Foundation after serving on the Board of Directors for 15 years (1983-1997), President 1990-1996. Your contribution to this special fund will be used by the Indiana 4-H Foundation to help provide leadership and citizenship learning experiences for Indiana 4-H members for decades to come and will honor Doc’s commitment to 4-H programs statewide. Dr. Abel will help the Foundation determine the use of this endowment. Just as Doc has been an inspiration for many, this endowment will honor his leadership and dedication to making the best better.
