The Indiana 4-H Foundation would like to introduce to you its newest campaign “Investing in a Bright Green Future.” The new campaign was created to help the Indiana 4-H Foundation in raising money to disperse throughout Indiana’s youth development 4-H programs.

One aspect of the new campaign is a t-shirt that reads “I Believe in a Bright Green Future,” which will be given to or purchased by 4-H members, donors, friends, etc. The newsletter will also be redesigned to display a more vibrant image.

On August 11th, the Indiana 4-H Foundation will be hosting “Bright Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast” as an inaugural fundraising event during the Indiana State Fair to go along with the new Bright Green campaign. The event will include featured speakers and awards.

The Foundation would also like to introduce 4-Hers young and old to the “Bright Green Team Photo Contest,” which asks participants to submit their favorite personal 4-H photo (old or new) along with one time membership fee of $15 to the Bright Green Team. This will entitle participants to compete for a Best of Show contest where winners will be announced at the BGEAH Breakfast. The top 3 photos will be featured at the Indiana 4-H Foundation booth throughout the fair. All participants will receive a “Bright Green Future” t-shirt and a one year membership to the Bright Green Team which makes them eligible to attend events and receive special offers from the Foundation.

A second aspect is the redesigning of the Indiana 4-H Foundation’s website. The Foundation would like to invite all Indiana 4-H members to write blogs on the website at www.in.4h.org so we can find out what you think about 4-H. The website will display your blogs so we can get a better understanding of what you enjoy about 4-H and also help other youth understand why they should join the 4-H program. We would enjoy reading about your 4-H experiences, projects or any other part of the 4-H program you have enjoyed. You can write about the activities your 4-H club is involved in, such as fundraising, fun activities or special projects. We would like to read what Indiana 4-H’ers think about the new 4-H campaign “Investing in a Bright Green Future.”

Dr. Anne
Without my 4-H experiences, I'd have never realized my occupational goals. Thank you, 4-H, and Eli Lilly and Co, for making it so! Best wishes to the Indiana 4-H Foundation for a successful fund-raising campaign. It's hard to think of a more worthy cause.
